The biography contains the life history of Neil Armstrong, the first American citizen to go into space, the first man to walk on the moon. Armstrong was a eagle ranked boy scout, licensed pilot at the age of 16, flew 78 missions during the Korean war and received several awards. Armstrong worked at NASA. Armstrong received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Richard Nixon and he was the first American citizen to go into space.
